1215 Day Rule (3.3 years)

A Riverside County Debtor wants to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy case and has $500,000 in equity in her house. Her Attorney finds there are no other issues in the case and uses the 2024 Riverside County Homestead amount of $612,000.  The house appears to be fully protected.

At the meeting of creditors, the Trustee asks the Debtor how long has she owned the house? The Debtor says she has owned the house for two (2) years (or 730 days).
